Weekend Activities at BCC: June 14-16 / 2013
Friday, June 14, Shabbat Services with Rabbi Lisa Edwards & Ritual Chair, Davi Cheng at 8pm. Welcome Shabbat and summer with an evening of prayer and Parashat, companions and cheer. A sweet oneg is being sponsored by Beth Salamensky in honor of our most Honorable Donna Quigley-Groman’s birthday. Add yourself to another memorable evening at BCC!

Saturday, June 15, Saturday Morning Minyan, 10am. Join us for traditional style Shabbat morning services infused with BCC’s informal, welcoming spirit and the warmth of community. Rousing melodies, Torah reading, & insightful discussion of the week’s Torah portion. Learners welcome. An English transliteration of the service is available so everyone can participate easily. Kiddush & vegetarian potluck always follows the service.
Sunday, June 16, Jews in the L.A. Mosaic Exhibit, 9:45am. Join BCC members to view the exhibition, Jews in the Los Angeles Mosaic, at the Autry National Center in Griffith Park. Guided 1-hour group tour led by exhibition curator and BCC member Karen Wilson begins @ 9:45am followed by optional self-pay lunch at the Autry Café @ noon. $8 per person advanced ticket required.
