The evening begins at 6 PM with a Pizza Shabbat Dinner and Clothing Swap, where guests are encouraged to bring clean, gently used clothes in all sizes and unopened or unused hair and beauty products to create a safe, gender-affirming shopping experience for trans and nonbinary community members. At 7:30 PM, we’ll gather for a Trans Day of Remembrance-centered Kabbalat Shabbat service, reflecting on those we’ve lost and celebrating the strength, beauty, and resilience of the trans community. The night concludes with a special oneg to connect, share, and hold one another in community. All are welcome to come as you are, bring what you can, and join us for this meaningful evening of remembrance and renewal.
